My current favorite summer drink.  Combine my LOVE of watermelon with my love of margaritas and you have an instant hit!  Summer love

  • 1 Cup frozen watermelon cut up into 1-2 inch cubes (freeze at least 2 hours and can be frozen for several weeks)
  • 4 jiggers of silver tequila
  • 2 jiggers of Cointreau
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • Dash of margarita mix (optional)
  1. Place watermelon, tequila, Cointreau and lime juice in blender. Blend until all watermelon is pureed. Taste and add margarita mix if it tastes too strong or if you like it sweeter.
  2. Serve as is, or with ice.

I love Pomegranate Martinis.  There are so many wonderful antioxidants in them, I find them a healthy cocktail 🙂  Hey, they look really pretty and I serve them year as the featured cocktail for our Toys for Tots party.

  • Vodka
  • Cointreau
  • Pomegrante Juice
  • 1 Lime
  • Ice
  • Cocktail Shaker
  1. Place ice in the cocktail shaker
  2. Using a cockatil jigger, add 4 parts Vodka
  3. Add 2 Parts Cointreau
  4. Add Juice of 1 Lime
  5. Add a healthy splash of Pomegranate juice (add more if you can’t take the heat)
  6. Shake well and pour into 2 martini glasses.
